I’m a gypsy soul passionate about hiking in the mountains, smelling the fresh cut grass and watching my daughter smile.

Raised in Romania – the land of Dracula and Nadia Comaneci - I grew up in a communist regime under Dictator Ceausescu where “we were all equals, but some people were more equal than others”. This got me grounded in history and made me appreciate life as it comes; I learned to never compromise and to keep on breathing.

Adventure finds me at every corner: landed in America barely speaking English and with no driving license – let alone a car. Two years later I graduated from international business program at the Univ. of South Carolina. 10 minutes into my first American date the car broke down and I had to steer the wheel even though I couldn’t tell the gas from the breaks. Turned out that I will marry the guy 3 years and lots more adventures later. On our flight to get married in Vegas (where else of course!) we got the blessing from beloved coach Lou Holtz. During our first European getaway we’ve been pick-pocketed twice in less than 24 hours and had to spend the night on the train station pavement in forgotten little place named Como.

Started my life over four times in the last 5 years and each time I get a deeper understanding on finding inner peace and inspiring those around me. The best is yet to come.
